CD covers.

This are the CD cover, back, front, and inside of The Script- Science and Faith & Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto. The albums genre are folk, pop, and rock. They are really different from other album covers, they don't the bands photo of themselves on it. This shows that they're well known, so they don't need their photos on there. Coldplay's CD cover is very colourful and bright. It is said that "this album is a  concept album, and a thematic rock opera. I really like the album, it's very colourful and grabs the attention of the audience.

Compared to Coldplay's CD, The Script's CD is completely different.
Full analysis of The Script's CD is on presentation.

Research and planning.

While looking through music magazines, I've found these three advertisements for albums. We've been observing the house style, framing, mise en scene of this adverts in order to help with ideas for our creation. We've discussed that we want an emotional low key, photograph for the advert to link to the concept of the music video.

Feedback from B-TEC class.

A media B-TEC class watched our video today, and gave feedback. There were positive responses, and some suggestions to how we could have added. They said we needed more acting, and lip syncing in the video. As a pop song, pop music videos have majority of lip-sycing. The concept was understandable. (heart break, breakups, teenage love) They were very keen on our slit screen effect, which is great. Overall, we did very well, and they enjoyed our video.
